Join us for a discussion around how your company can be a part of the Kickstart scheme.
Kickstart is the current initiative to aid economic recovery by supporting young people into a new job placement and reducing the possibility and consequences of long term unemployment. For each Kickstart job, the government will cover the cost of 25 hours a week at the relevant National Minimum Wage in addition to pension and National Insurance contributions. Employers will also receive £1,500 per placement for wraparound support for the young person, including personal development and employability skills.
The event will show you how to become a Kickstart employer, access support for your staff from the network of local colleges and the funding available. It will highlight the scale of the challenge and why employers can play such an important part in the recovery of our communities, how Kickstart has developed and new flexibilities introduced to support employers with placements and progression onto programmes like Traineeships and Apprenticeships.
This event will be held on Microsoft Teams. Sign-up via this Eventbrite and we will email you a meeting link beforehand.
