Land Commission
Research was commissioned to understand what factors are affecting the West Midlands' land supply.
The West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) has a number of key priorities - economic growth, skills, transport and housing as well as reforming public services and reducing the region's welfare bill. To ensure these priorities are dealt with the WMCA established three commissions; Land Commission, Mental Health Commission and Productivity & Skills Commission.
These independent commissions have helped shape WMCA policy going forward, much of which is now being implemented. They will also support the wider vision of a Midlands Engine.
Our BETA Leadership Commission has made its report. Visit here for more details.
