Giving Day

This year we have seen charities working even harder to support those less fortunate, vulnerable and isolated due to the pandemic. Whatever size of business you represent and whatever sector you operate in, a local charity would welcome your support. Even a small act, when multiplied by many of us, can make a big difference. Please help by giving something back.

Thank you

Mayor's Giving Day begins Tuesday 22 September 2020

The Mayor’s Giving Day is back for a second year, but this time we're going virtual!

This is no longer just for one day, enabling businesses the opportunity to continually support local charities, community groups and good causes across the West Midlands.

This simple and impactful initiative strides to build a sense of pride and purpose in the region by showcasing existing work and encouraging us all to do a little extra. Born from the Lord Mayor’s City Day in London it enables companies and employees to celebrate and showcase their philanthropic and volunteering achievements and encourage others to get involved.

Giving takes many different forms. We give time, skills and financial support to those less fortunate, largely through charity intermediaries.

Whatever size of business you represent and whatever sector you operate in, our local good causes would welcome your support. There are some amazing and fun ideas for what you can do and how you can get involved, including virtual events for those working from home, so please register to find out more.

Even a small act, when multiplied by many of us, can make a big difference.
