"What is a Circular Economy" is designed to encourage communities and small businesses to rethink how they use our planet’s valuable resources. To rethink both what and how they make, sell, provide and buy, and also how they dispose of what is surplus to requirement or they no longer need – with a view to being more circular and sustainable whilst delivering social value and ideally economic returns.

The adoption of circular strategies and solutions require a shift in ‘business as usual’, away from the linear ‘take, make, use, waste’ towards circular practices of rethinking, reducing, reusing, sharing, access not ownership (rent not buy), repairing, repurposing, remanufacturing and recycling.
