Aspire 4 U CIC


The Community Environment Network aims to connect community groups working on environment action, boost their efforts, and also inspire and support new groups. 

Aspire 4 U CIC community garden in the heart of Dudley Town centre is a small, urban green space where visitors and volunteers can enjoy quiet. 

As part of their Nature Call to Action campaign, they are working with the local community and volunteers to create a 'QR Code Garden' where visitors can scan the QR codes to discover stories, sounds and information about the plants, habitats and wildlife around them. 

As well as engaging new people through the QR project, they will be adding upcycled planters for pollinator friendly plants and food growing.

All sessions will take place at Dudley Wellbeing Garden from 1pm-3pm each Friday in March. Find out more information about each session below:

Friday 6th March
Nature Mapping Session
A guided garden walk identifying areas for pollinator planting, bird feeders and wildlife habitats to help shape our new interactive QR Nature Trail. There will also be up-cycling and painting tyres for new planters.
Open to adults (booking recommended).

Friday 13th March
Nature Storytelling & Content Creation
A creative session writing, recording and shaping short plant and habitat stories for the QR Nature Trail.
Open to adults (booking recommended).

Friday 20th March
Pollinator Planting, Bird Feeder Installation & QR Testing
A practical planting session creating pollinator-friendly habitats, installing bird feeders and testing the new QR trail points around the garden.
Open to adults (booking recommended).

Friday 27th March
Garden Open Day & QR Nature Trail Launch
Installation of final QR signage followed by a relaxed open afternoon for the community to explore the new interactive Nature Trail.
Open to the public (drop-in welcome).
