Hawbush Community Gardens

The Community Environment Network aims to connect community groups working on environment action, boost their efforts, and also inspire and support new groups.

Hawbush Community Gardens in Dudley
is a haven for wildlife in the centre of Brierley Hill.

The community garden is open everyday for people to pop down and enjoy the green space. During March they restored a disused pond to transform it into a safe, accessible and biodiverse feature for people and nature.

With the pond in better shape, they have also created an accessible path for people with limited mobility to enjoy the space, as well as sturdy fencing to create a safe space for children to pond dip and observe the ponds wildlife.

The garden hosted volunteering days and family fun activities.
