Lifegate Outreach Centre

The Community Environment Network aims to connect community groups working on environment action, boost their efforts, and also inspire and support new groups.

The Lifegate Outreach Centre is a Christian Faith based charity in Walsall, leading on youth empowerment via environmental education.

For the Nature Call to Action Campaign the community garden initiatives project aims to create awareness, educate and facilitate young community champions, stimulating interest in soil engagements via horticulture (gardening lessons); anti-plastic soil campaigns and composting (food-waste/greens to compost and support UK Compost week March 2026.).

Lifegate Communities projects are all about 'making a difference' in their community, especially the black community.

See below for details of events running in March:

14th March 2026- an event for basic horticulture training and composting activities, aligned with the Compost Week UK 2026. The aim of the event is to encourage communities across Walsall to take a proactive step towards a greener future.
