The WMCA, in partnership with British Council, are launching a new small grants programme for artists, creatives, and organisations to boost their international profile, create new partnerships abroad, and promote their work on a global scale. You can apply now for grants between £2,500 and £8,000 across our two strands of funding: the Global Creative Legacy Grants, and the West Midlands Future Growth Grants.

The application deadline for both strands of funding is Monday 29th April 2024.

The Global Creative Legacy Grants, delivered with the British Council and enabled through ODA (Official Development Assistance) funds, will support the development of partnerships between West Midlands organisations and partners in ODA-eligible countries. The Creative Legacy Grants will especially support the legacy of projects and partnerships developed through recent major events in the West Midlands, such as Birmingham 2022 Festival or Coventry City of Culture.
