We've created the Circular Economy Literacy Training for SME's, businesses and anyone with an interest in sustainable consumption.
The training has been created by the WMCA and Cirklo Consult LTD.
What's included in the course?
The course is split into three e-learning modules that you can complete at your own pace. The content covered includes:
Module 1 - Introduction to Circular Economy
- Why do we need a Circular Economy?
- Circular Economy principles
- Social, environmental and economic benefits
- WMCA context and our Routemap
Module 2 - Circular Economy Opportunities
- Circular economy business models
- Case studies in clothing, food, manufacturing, construction and communities.
Module 3 - Implementing Circular Economy in your Organisation
- Incorporating circular strategies and solutions into your business
- Drivers, including policy and regulation
- Levers to enable change
- Metrics to measure impact
Assessment
Once you have completed the three modules, you can take the assessment. You can retake the assessment at any time.
FAQs
Once you have completed the three e-learning modules and passed the assessment, you will be issued with a Circular Economy Literate digital badge, that you can display in your email signature or via LinkedIn.
You will also receive a certificate from the CPD Certification Service and can use the hours towards your CPD portfolio or system.
You can complete each module at your own pace, in your own time. The time to complete each module will be between 20 - 30 minutes. Some learners may be quicker, and others may take longer.
Please note that your progress will not be saved. We recommend that you complete one module in one sitting, as closing the browser or refreshing your page will lose your progress.
