Free training sessions for community groups and organisations
Free Renters Rights Act training sessions will be available for all community groups and organisations in the West Midlands. The training will increase your understanding of the new legislation and help build your confidence in supporting renters.

Renters’ Rights are changing: what you need to know
From 1 May 2026, new legislation will change how private renting works in England. The Renters’ Rights Act introduces a range of new protections for tenants and changes how landlords can manage tenancies.
These changes include updates to evictions, rent increases, and new rights for renters in areas such as pets and property standards.
If you’re a private renter, landlord or supporting residents, it’s important to understand what these changes mean in practice.
