Get Connected for Less Marketing Toolkit

Here at the West Midlands Combined authority, we want as many people as possible to stay connected, and for those eligible, make the most of cheaper broadband and mobile tariffs.

Nearly half of residents in the West Midlands have limited internet access, so as part of our ‘Digital Roadmap’ we are helping people to get online and stay connected through promoting cheaper broadband and mobile deals, running digital skills bootcamps and providing devices and support to those most digitally excluded.

We are encouraging businesses, communities, charities and the housing sector to get behind our campaign to help ease the pressure during the cost of living crisis, and promote so-called ‘social tariffs’ which are cheaper broadband and mobile tariffs available to households and individuals in receipt of specific benefits.

We have provided a ‘toolkit’ for you to use, that includes:

For those without internet access, we recommend people contact their local council for cost of living support, or visit their local citizens advice bureau or community centre.
